Glass/Ceramic State Flame-retardant Functional Powder

Glass/Ceramic State Flame-retardant Functional Powder” is an environmentally friendly new inorganic functional powder material. Under normal pressure in the -100°C ~1400°C, it does not chemically react with various metals and inorganic substances, but it can form a single layer or multiple layers of oxygen-insulating and fire-resistant “film wall structure layer” on the surface of organic substances. It is widely used in various flame-retardant plastics, rubbers, glues, clothes, cable foreskin, sockets and sealing rubber parts.

 

When impacted at high temperature, it has following reactions:
Reacts with organic free radicals to become non-combustible;
Melts and seals into a “glassy wall structure” heat-resisting layer;
Absorbs heat and melts into a glassy wall heat-resisting layer to isolate oxygen;
Cool down to form a eutectic glass/ceramic “dropless hard shell layer”;
In the end, it becomes a rigid, insulating, dense (impermeable) glassy stable substance.

 

Product Features
1. Glass/Ceramic State Flame-retardant Functional Powder melts into a glass/ceramic state at low temperature. When it reaches about 350°C, began to melt into a liquid state. The higher the temperature, the lower the viscosity. It has different viscosities at different temperature. Under normal pressure in 500°C-1400°C, it stays in a stable liquid state.
2. Good compatibility. Easy to disperse with various fillers and resins.
3. The process span is large. Suitable for the temperature resistance limit of 800 °C, which covers many rubbers, plastics and resins, etc.
